Uchechukwu Oba, MD, began his career as a nurse before going to medical school at the University of Medicine & Health Sciences in New York, earning his degree in 2014. He quickly followed with a Master's in Health Care Administration from Walden University in 2016 and then began his residency with the Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona, in 2016.

Dr. Oba is passionate about medical volunteer work, providing medical screenings, and promoting awareness for various medical conditions for underserved populations.

Dr. Oba is also passionate about health education and regularly presents on topics ranging from ADHD Treatments to Diabetic Medications, Miller Fisher Syndrome, and Pediatric Infection and treatment. He is a member of both the American Medical Association and the American Association of Family Physicians.
